In accordance with Article 10 of Macau Decree No. 48/98 / M, the name of a travel agency must be made in two official languages ​​(ie Chinese and Portuguese), but it must also have a name in another language, such as English. At the same time, the proposed names should basically correspond in the two official languages. Therefore, to apply for a Macao Travel Agency (Tourism Company) license, it is necessary to first set up a Macao company whose business includes tourism projects. This is one of them.

Second, go through the formalities for submitting legal application forms

a. The legal representative of the applicant company signs the form application form and attaches a photocopy of the identity document of the signatory;

b. If the applicant company authorizes others (such as entrusting the Jin Lei International (Macau) service team) to apply for it, it must submit the original authorized letter or certified copy of the notarization.

Third, submit documents certifying that the proposed tourism technology director meets relevant legal requirements, including:

a photocopy of identity document;

Fourth, the documents and materials required to submit other applications;

a. Application for business registration certificate issued by the Commercial and Movable Property Registry within 3 months;

b. Submit the original certificate related to the registration of the real estate facilities of the travel agency issued by the Property Registration Bureau;

c. Floor plan of travel agency facilities with a scale of 1: 100 (to be signed by professional and technical personnel registered with the Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau);

d. Documents of cooperation with local and foreign travel agencies;

e. Photocopy of Business Tax Form M / 1 of the Finance Bureau;

f. The original or certified copy of the professional civil liability insurance policy;

g. Original Guarantee of MOP 500,000.

Fifth, the above applications shall be examined and approved by the Macau Tourism Bureau within a reasonable period of time. The applicant must apply for inspection within 6 months from the notification of the approval of the application by the Bureau, and if the inspection is qualified, the travel agency (tourist company) license shall be issued.

If the travel agency license is surrendered to the existing licensee, it will be followed up through the following process:

First, the equity transfer procedures of the company where the travel agency license is signed;

Second, handle the business registration procedures and M1 of the equity transfer of the company where the travel agency license is located;

Thirdly, according to the provisions of the current laws and regulations of Macau, it is necessary to submit to the Macau Tourism Board within 90 days the application procedures for changing the articles of association of the licensed company of a travel agency.
